Responsibilities:
§ Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and advanced data engineering solutions to solve complex business problems.
§ Collaborating across teams, setting technical directions, and driving innovation in machine learning and data science practices.
§ Lead the development of core ML algorithms, including optimization, NLP, generative models, recommendations, reinforcement learning, and predictive maintenance.
§ Architect and manage end-to-end data science and machine learning pipelines to meet critical business objectives.
§ Drive the adoption of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Databricks) to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.
§ Mentor and guide Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers on best practices and innovative techniques.
§ Ensure alignment with organizational goals and oversee the implementation of scalable, cutting-edge solutions in a cloud environment.
§ Build and oversee scalable API development, data engineering tooling, and data visualization platforms.
§ Collaborate with Data Engineers and other software engineers to share best practices and techniques for a given problem.
§ Drive on engineering and architectural practices and standards required for automation.
§ Code, build systems, and automate, to include utilizing Cloud.
§ Be an inspiration for technical ability and innovation to the team.
§ Become a trusted and valued partner of business owners, and technology team.
Education & Other Minimum Requirements:   

§ Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

§ Four years of experience in data science or analytics.
§ Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and six years of progressive experience in data science or analytics in lieu of a Master’s degree or equivalent and four years of experience.

§ Work experience to include: 1. Utilizing Python frameworks (including sklearn, scipy, numpy, and pandas) or R. 2. Using query languages including SQL. 3. Working with either Microsoft Azure Data Engineering and Analytics stacks (including Azure Data Lake Storage, or with Azure Data Factory) or Azure Synapse Analytics. 4. Working with data visualization tools including Tableau, Qlikview, or Looker. 5. Utilizing Agile methods. 6. Working with databases including SQL Server or MySQL. 7. Utilizing Cloud and Cloud tools.

Salary: $160,000.00 to $182,000.00 per year.
