The Business Systems & Quality Analyst will work with customers to write detailed description of program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. 
A successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.  The position will involve a wide degree of creativity and latitude in this fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to define technical solutions that meet their business requirements.
  • Analyze requirement and design specifications and identify system modifications to meet requests.
  • Develop and execute software test plans for functional, performance, stress, and regression testing needs.
  • Derive test cases from design discussions or technical/functional specifications.
  • Document test results and submit problem logs using the online problem tracking system.
  • Perform testing on reworked problem logs and close the logs as appropriate.
  • Effectively report status to the project lead on each assigned project, effectively communicate software issues/concerns in a timely manner.
  • Manage defect tracking and reporting throughout the QA life cycle.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of multiple applications.

Basic Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, OR a minimum of two years progressively responsible experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of program/component design and construction tools and techniques
  • Solid working knowledge of the capabilities and strategies of quality assurance
  • Experience with software testing and/or formal testing methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding written and oral communication abilities
  • Skilled in MS Office applications and experience with testing multiple versions of Web browsers
  • Familiar with relational databases
  • Average level or above SQL skills
