Job Description:
The Desktop Support Technician’s primary focus is to provide “white glove” IT support to our end users in our Sioux Falls facility and various remote users. Troubleshooting computer-related issues, and technological problem-solving are at the center of the role’s workday. The position requires great attention to detail, ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment and a customer service first attitude. A successful candidate will have passion for the job and enjoy the challenges that come with ensuring the availability and reliability of the company’s technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot team member workstations and laptops
  • Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting application software used by team members
  • Facilitate escalation to external vendors to aid in problem resolution
  • Support internal systems including servers, workstations, laptops, phones, and mobile devices
  • Provide production systems support (including potential on call rotation)
  • Participate in the onboarding of new employees in either a one on one or a group setting
  • Participate in internal systems audits monthly ensuring consistency
  • Ensure full compliance with consumer lending regulations, established procedures, and policies of the company
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments/duties and contribute to special projects as assigned

Education & Other Minimum Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field (or applicable certifications) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one to three years related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of workstation and laptop hardware
  • Experience with VOIP solutions
  • Experience with Active Directory (AD)
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical customers on technology issues
  • Experience imaging/building end user workstations
  • Drive to complete assignments in a timely manner while clearly communicating and measuring progress
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted
